1 John 5:13
“These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God – that you may know you have eternal life, and you may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
“What is Jesus Christ to you? What is God to you? Do you want to be righteous and holy? Do you want to be like Christ? Do you want to love the brethren? Our Lord said ‘that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.’ I am not asking you what you believe about God, I am asking you do you know Him? Do you believe Him to be your Father? Can you say honestly, ‘the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.’
