Knowing the Love of God

1 John 4:16
“And we have known and believed the love that God has to us. God is love. He that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.”

Paul puts this in a resounding statement when he says, ‘but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered to you’ (Rom 6:17). They obeyed with their will. They obeyed with their heart. There was emotion. What had they obeyed? They obeyed the form of sound words of doctrine that was delivered to them.”
