The Sinless Savior

1 John 3:5
“You know that He was manifested to take away our sins and in Him is no sin.”

“Jesus has come because of our sin, because of the predicament and the position of men and women, because of the whole question of the law. Jesus committed no act of sin. He always honored God’s holy law. He obeyed it fully and carried it out perfectly. He fulfills it. ‘In Him is no sin’ – He has satisfied the law of God. He has kept the law for us. He has dealt with the problem of the guilt of our sin by providing a perfect sacrifice and offering for our sin. The law demands perfection. It cannot admit any blemish. If the Lord Jesus Christ had sinned once, He could no longer have been that perfect offering for our sins.”
