Wednesday Early Morning:
The forecast track has changed slightly. It’s anticipated to follow the same pattern but not go out over sea as much. It is more likely to travel up along the coast. It has exited Florida around Cape Canaveral as expected. It will probably travel up the coast and re-enter land around Marineland. Northeast Florida is now under a Hurricane Watch, although Fay is still just a TS. Maximum sustained winds are now 45mph.
As I left the house it began to rain. The satellite showed the extreme northern bands of Fay beginning to hit the area. I expect the winds and rain to increase as the day progresses.
