TS Fay

Tuesday Late Afternoon:
Murmurings about the office said that Fay was becoming a threat to our area as it did not weaken over land as anticipated and would be pushed back westward by a high pressure system in its way to the northeast.

I’m not sure where it first developed. I knew it had traveled north over Cuba up along the southwest coast of Florida. Tuesday it went ashore at Cape Romano, south of Tampa and began heading northeast. Sustained maximum winds are around 60mph
