Wednesday Midday:
Walked out to the truck after lunch. The temperature was maybe 10 degrees cooler than a normal day, probably in the low to mid 80’s. The wind was blowing substantially, though not hard. Banks of dark clouds filled the sky and were moving slowly from east to west. I could see bands of rain off in the distance coming out of some of those cloud banks. I was only outside for five minutes but had brought my umbrella. You never know when the rain might fall in the middle of a tropical storm. Earlier in the morning, the latest update tracked Fay’s path further south of Jacksonville across Florida. So as it works its way north, it should make a turn to the west soon.
